Senior Manager – Risk & Compliance

Effective December 2025, Kaisher von Wahl is the Senior Manager – Risk & Compliance at the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA). This appointment marks the first formal establishment of the Risk & Compliance Department within the Authority, reflecting SLASPA’s commitment to strengthened governance, resilience, and regulatory excellence.

With over 12 years of professional experience and just over a decade of service to SLASPA, Kaisher previously held the position of Director of Internal Audit, where she led significant governance and control enhancements, introduced risk-based methodologies, implemented audit technology, and supported executive, senior leadership and the Port Council through high-impact assurance and advisory services.

In her current role, she provides strategic leadership for enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, occupational health and safety oversight, emergency response and business continuity, and quality assurance, embedding a proactive, integrated risk culture across the organization.

A strategic, principled, and people-centered leader, Kaisher is recognized for driving transformative change, strengthening institutional capacity, and developing high-performing teams. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration, Expert Digital Marketing 360 Certification, is a Certified Public Accountant (USA), and is certified in COSO ERM-Internal Controls.
