Director, Internal Audit

Kaisher von Wahl joined SLASPA in October 2015, where she became the Director of Internal Audit, providing leadership when carrying out independent appraisals of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the Authority’s financial, physical and information resources are managed.  In addition, she oversees the design and organises the internal audit function, including the preparation of an audit plan, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource needs in accordance with the responsibility of the Internal Audit Department.

Kaisher’s prior work with a ‘Big 4’ public accounting firm brings with her a variety of accounting, auditing and advisory experience, including management of teams and assignments. Kaisher brings with her a significant wealth of experience across diverse mix industries.

Kaisher holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Accounting Major with Minors in Finance and Marketing from the University of the West Indies (UWI).  She is a licensed US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a current member of the Institution of Chartered Accountants of the Eastern Caribbean (ICAEC) and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
