The Port Police Division proudly celebrates the impressive achievements of its recruits following their successful completion of the Elementary Stage of the current Police Training Program at the Police Force Academy.
During the challenging training period, the recruits demonstrated unwavering dedication, discipline, and academic excellence. In addition to the core police training curriculum, they excelled in advanced courses in Aviation Security, Maritime Security, and Shipping Legislation, showcasing their commitment to professional development and specialized service.
Leading the way was Recruit Lisa Wilfred, who achieved an outstanding 4th place overall in the class and earned the distinction of being the top-performing Port Police recruit. Close behind was Recruit Jordan Donatien, who placed 15th overall, securing the second-highest ranking among Port Police participants.
Their exceptional performance was officially recognized during the Commandant’s Parade on
Thursday, August 16, 2025, at the Police Force Academy. In a proud and symbolic moment, Assistant Commissioner of Police Dr. Mashama K. Sealy personally presented the 1st and 2nd Place Merit Badges to these outstanding recruits.
Recruits Wilfred and Donatien were part of an elite group of eight top performers: two from the
Port Police and six from the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, invited to the Regional Security Services (RSS) Award Ceremony and Dinner at Government House. The event also honored former Commissioner of Police Ausbert Regis and four other distinguished senior officers for their exemplary service to the RSS and the nation.
The Port Police Division extends its heartfelt congratulations to Recruits Wilfred and Donatien for their dedication and outstanding performance, which continue to uphold the high standards of excellence within the Port Police Division and the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) as a whole.
